Richmond Identities - About the course

About the course

Identities is an innovative two-level young adult course that quickly teaches high-intermediate and advanced students both accurately and fluently, thus building their own identity in English. Identities can be used as a stand-alone course or as the continuation of the best-selling English ID course

Identities is a friendly course in every sense.

It’s teacher-friendly because it respects each teacher’s needs. Some wish to teach off the page, with little preparation, others to dip in and out, others largely to follow the Teacher’s Book. All these options were built into Identities from the start.

It’s learner-friendly because it respects learners’ need to be spoken to as adults so learners explore a full range of topics requiring critical thinking.

Identities is also language-friendly as it embraces students’ existing language knowledge and background to help them better understand how English works.

Identities is digital. It combines the best of both print and digital with a wealth of resources including this Learning Platform and the Identities Digital Book for IWB.
